Hello everyone,

I am on Arch and I have POL installed with wine, wine_gecko, wine-mono.

Whenever I install a new application in POL it will re-download e.g. wine or wine-mono and then re-install for that given virtual drive.

Why isn't POL using the wine-mono that I installed on my Archlinux OS with the package manager?

It is already installed and always up-to-date.

Also the downloads through POL are sometimes very slow or don't even work at all.

OS: Arch Linux - Kernel 5.2.8

POL Version: 4.3.4

I understand that POL uses different versions of wine, but all of them should work fine with the lates wine-mono and wine-gecko? But still POL will always re-download and re-install those.

POL's Wine versions are isolated of the OS, they can only use the Mono/Gecko available from the POL website (POL's functions).
