Let me preface this by saying I’ve never attempted to game on my Mac before, so I’m new to all of this. I have a 2017 MacBook Pro, Intel core i5, 256 GB I really wanted to play Hogwarts Legacy, so I used boot camp to download windows 10. I partitioned 122 GB. On the windows partition I downloaded Hogwarts Legacy through steam. It downloaded fine but it is so laggy that it’s unplayable. All of the in-game graphic settings are set to the lowest possible, but it’s still too slow. I’ve seen that other people have had success running this game with Macs, so I’m wondering what I’m doing wrong? Would downloading the game to an external hard drive help?
