hey I would like to the scripts written for many of the populuar MMorpg games like DDO (Dungeons and Dragons online) Runes of Magic, and a lot of the others that are listed on mmorpg. I would like to see the free to play more then the others where it is free source games like Linux is intended for.
The problem with free MMORPGs is that most of them use anti-hack/anti-cheat programs (such as X-Trap, Hackshield, etc.) that prevent them from running on virtual machines and GNU/Linux distributions (the latter is likely not intended, but a by-product of the way they work). If a game doesn't work according to WineHQ, PoL can't do much more since it's just a tool to help use Wine.
It might not be something you're expecting to read on a "PlayOnLinux" forum, but if you want to play MMORPGs (and several other games in general), your best option is probably to keep a dual boot with Windows for your games - that's what I do. Rebooting before and after a gaming session ain't too much trouble after all.
Disclaimer: I'm a noob, not a dev; my advice is only a guess.
Attention : Je suis aussi noob que vous, prenez mes suggestions avec un grain de sel ;)
