So yeah, I can't find league on the games list even though it says that it is supported by playonlinux here http://www.playonlinux.com/en/supported_apps-1-0.html I have ticked only commercial checkbox, might that be the problem?

The script for League of Legends is a beta script, meaning you have to tick the checkbox for testing. Keep in mind that beta scripts might not work properly.
