So I restored a mass effect 2 backup on steam, then it shows unsupported hardware error.

I have wine 1.7.22 and i have macbook pro retina late 2012.need help.

When I open it, it plays some of the intro music then stops working and I see a black screen

when I try that, during installation i get an XAudio window saying:-

CPU does not meet minimum requirements.  Streaming SIMD extensions support required.

I searched for this on google and realised that this was due to wine.The wine version was too old to detect my hardware.So I downloaded the steam app which used 1.7.22
