Hi all,

I installed GOG:Zeus+Poseidon with provided script. There is no sound comming from the game or from the audio tab in "Configure Wine" screen.

On the other hand, if I start the "Configure Wine" screen from outside POL I have sound, so I guess there is something wrong with a prefix or configuration which I cannot work around.

Maybe PulseAudio, distribution may provide PA-patched Wine, we provide plain Wine which is not patched

That could be the issue. You can try to use some of our wine-staging patched Wine, which I think is PA aware...

I am still unsure what I am supposed to do to get audio. For example, in the link provided someone said something like this

 

padsp --version && POL_Config_Write BEFORE_WINE 'padsp --'

What am I supposed to do with that line of code? Put it where?

Those days you can also try Wine-staging patches (all Wine versions ending in -staging), those have PulseAudio support...
