So i submitted a bugreport within the POL launcher but figured there is a good chance someone on the forums here has encountered this before and may already know a fix.
Until recently i have been playing the old republic under ubuntu via POL. However as of this week, when i enter my username and password the launcher just sits there with the loading animation running doing nothing. I strongly suspect it is incapable of connecting to the login server as i have tested inputting an incorrect password deliberately and it does not instantly (or indeed ever) reject the login attempt as it normally should. I have tested disabling my router firewall and it connects fine on my windows system and also instantly rejects logins with an incorrect password. I can post a log next time i am on my laptop.
