So I've downloaded PlayOnMac last night and I've been getting this message each time I tried to open it:

 

“PlayOnMac” can’t be opened because the identity of the developer cannot be confirmed.

Right click on the file and choose open from the menu.

 

If that does not work (and you are sure that this app is safe) go to System Preferences>Security & Privacy>General, set 'Allow Apps etc' to 'Anywhere'. Change it back after you download this app.

 

Be aware that bypassing the normal security settings may not be safe.
