Running Halo with Nvidia GT 1030 and Direct3D

I installed Halo using PlayOnLinux and Wine v1.6.2. I have also tried several other Wine versions. Everything installs correctly, but when I run Halo, I get this error:

 

> A problem occurred initializing Direct3D. Hardware acceleration maybe disable, please run DXDIAG.

 

How do I fix this? When I installed it, I followed the PlayOnLinux guide and also installed POL_Install_d3dx9 and POL_Install_mfc42. I have been googling for HOURS and I can't find any solution to this; I'm kind of at my wits' end!

Install the Nvidia OpenGL libraries:

 

> sudo aptitude install nvidia-driver-libs:i386
