Library does not update

I recently downloaded PlayOnMac because I wanted to play Team Fortress 2. After fixing the black screen issue, I downloaded TF2 on the Steam website, and closed, then re-opened, PlayOnMac. Unfortunately, TF2 does not show up on my library. It just doesn't update. Please help!
I have un-installed Steam and re-installed it, and deleted PlayOnMac and re-downloaded PlayOnMac. Help.
