By PlayOnLinux (version 4.3.4), I install FOXIT, the most current version (12.0.1.12430), and it runs perfectly, but it is not in the list of installed programs of PlayOnLinux.

So, I have to install FOXIT every time I need it.

How to proceed to have to install only 1 time, and that's it?

I'm new to PlayOnLinux. Please, another question. If the installation is fully successful, FOXIT is a list of programs installed by PlayOnLinux, and, thus, every time I need FOXIT, I will have to open PlayOnLinux, or when the installation is 100%, a shortcut to FOXIT is created, and then use it?

I think as far you don't delete your virtual drive, it's there forever, so you only need to install it one time... no need to install it multiple times.

It's not on the POL list because no one write the POL script for it, if it's working for you, you can learn to create the POL Script (https://wiki.playonlinux.com/index.php/How_to_Contribute_a_Script) and submit the app to https://www.playonlinux.com/en/supported_apps.html

Foxit recently introduced version 12.1.0. The versions since 12.0.1 have fixed some security and stability issues. Also, version 12.1.0 has new features and improvements.

 

The last version of Foxit Reader on WineHQ is 10:

It has a gold rating. Foxit released the Windows version of 10 in Nov. 2020.

 

Has there been any work in writing a POL script?
