for Christmas i received a genuine copy of oblivion and was delighted to find it on the list of supported games in POL but ran into problems when i tried to run it.
the installation went smoothly but when i finnished it said something along the lines of "we reccomend you patch before continuing" when i tried to install the patch from the POL install menu it said that the server was no longer availiable. so i downloaded it myself from and installed it as an unsupported app. when i tried to launch the game it came up with the menu but when i pressed play it crashed. i tried to run strait from the .exe and it also crashed i uninstalled and tried installing again without any patches and it still crashed. what do i do nothing seems to make it work however when i look on the site and others it says it should run smoothly... please help:incertain:

Use NO-CD for patched version of Oblivion

still experiencing problems with download ing the patch from the official server - "following server is no longer available"
+ when i manually install the patch and then use the NO-CD crack it still doesn't work...
would getting the expansion pack help?

I have an NVIDIA GEFORCE graphics card. thanks for the help by the way

i have fiddled with it for hours now and it still doesn't work and the patch still says it isn't available from the official website.... i guess itjust doesn't work :(
