Dear Friends
I have installed MS Office 2007 through PLAYONLINUX ON UBUNTU 11.04 - 64BIT PC which is working flawlessly except that the file associations are not working.

I also installed Endnote X4 according to the method given here (http://community.thomsonreuters.com/t5/EndNote-General/EndNote-X4-0-2-running-on-Ubuntu-10-10-and-Wine-1-3-13/td-p/17103)

I can see two problems:
First, endnote plugin is not visible in MS word so CITE WHILE YOU WRITE is not working

Second, endnote is not showing my group folders properly ( only icons, no names !! ) in my endnote library.

Any suggestions????

Did you ever get endnote-word 2007 to wor with Wine?

Thanks again for you input but a few things I'd like to mention.

I can't down load the 'Endnote X4 Windows 4.0.2 patch' which is linked to that page given above.

Are you sure that a program that records detailed references is the correct add-on or plug-in install to run my document that continually crashes?

Isn't 'Endnote' proprietary software (non-free)?

Please give me your thoughts.
