What if you type playonlinux --run "Name of a program" in a terminal?

playonlinux --run Diablo3

i created shortcuts new with POL, still same problem

Does the program run?

yes, when i start it from POL main page, programs runs without any problems

Does it run when you use playonlinux --run ?

nope dont start with that command seems to be a problem with root rights

"Diablo3" does not seems to be an existing shortcut

shortcut is made from POL

It is not named Diablo3. Maybe Diablo III, Diablo 3, but not Diablo3

Dont get this problem when I start it from POL Main Page

/usr/share/playonlinux/playonlinux --run "Diablo III" %F

This is the command how Shortcut will start it

For Excel, I've found the problem and fixed it. %F is a standard in .desktop file meaning that we should add extra arguments

strange part is, when i start it from POL startpage, this problems dont appear

Can you make a shortcut for Excel and try it?

What does same problem mean? Does excel run?

Diablo 3 from startet with POL
