I downloaded wine 1.7.51 wine staging. When I tried the manual instlation the highst version I could select was version 1.7.48! I tried 3 times. Perhapes version 4.2.9 of POL is bugged? Anyway I changed to version 1.51 after the wine prefix was created. It is a 64 bit install. POL errored out saying the package could not be installed in this version. I assume that means no 64 bit install. I went to the POL log file for the wine prefix and it looks like Direct x 11 is the package. I guess Dx11 only installs to 32 bit at the moment. O well its a next gen game and is still in alpha so no ecpectations that it would run right away. Here is the POL log:
