Hello,
I played steam version of Mordheim: City of the damned with manually created wine prefix through POL. It worked amazingly good with no problem at all until two days ago. There was steam update and Mordheim just don't even start. I tried it with vanilla wine default wine prefix and the game runs with it. Why POL manually created wine prefix has this problem, when wine default wine prefix is working. I tried to delete POL prefix and created it from scratch, to be sure, there were no harmful software installed, without success.
Now I want to ask, what is the difference between POL manually created wineprefix and wine default wineprefix? I didn't used winetricks with vanilla wine or installed any components with POL.

Did you use "System" wine with the prefix you created in PoL?
Otherwise the difference should be the Wine version

When using Wine directly, did you use it in 32 or 64bits?

How can I check wine architecture in .wine prefix? I have 64 and 32 bit wine installed. But I don't know which of them created prefix.
I tried
echo $WINEARCH
but its blank.

It seems a common way to do that is to check if there a windows/syswow64 subdirectory under drive_c; That one should only exist in 64bit prefixes

Ok, it is there, so the problem is with 32bit architecture used when creating wineprefix through POL. System default wine prefix is 64bit.
Thank you for your time. I try it today with POL 64bit wine prefix.

PoL assumes "System" Wine is 32bit though, so you'll have to use another version

Ok, I created 64bit prefix through POL and the game is now working fine.
