hopefully i'm not in the wrong sot for thewrong reason but knowing my luck....

 

wen going to install ms office 216 [method B] as i have in years past i get thise error  "Error in POL_Wine_InstallVersion Unable to find version: 5.8"

 

but, as far as i know it's more a statment than a error, it needs wine 5.88 but, im not sure if i just flat install wine 5.8 or if it tried to download it somewhere i bet there is even some documentation somewhere on this very thing that i have not found but, should read.

 

any suggestions for a long time newbie greenhorn? or it just a matter of sudo apt-get wine 5.8 and im overthinking it?

uuuuuuhhh is version 4.3.4 of POL rnew enough or have Zorin where ever the hell i've found it stuck me with TOO OLD of an old version?

 

edit: i whent to make sure the POL repositry was added but it seems modern debian distros have ditched apt key all together, is this by chacne telling me i need to add the POL repositries?
