Didn't worked for me, as stated on the displayed result in Terminal. Don't know where i can extract the full crashlog, but it seems that the culprit is a python library named ctypes. I tried searching it with pip3 search ctypes, but with no result matching exactly your lib.

Any idea ?

Hey so I had the same problem and your solution kind of worked. Everytime I open the app I get a message saying :

"playonmac cannot run because of bad language settings on your computer

To solve the problem, open a terminal and type :

defaults write -gAppleLocale en_US" 

I did just that but it it didn't work. This is the message I got:
