POL installation question

relation to wine version installed from distro rep.

tomkcz12	There is a specific instruction for installing wine i386 "Ubuntu Precise (and superior) users : You must install the package wine:i386 to get PlayOnLinux working" Please explain the need for POL to use a wine instance under OS, it seems having independent wine versions management. Currently using ubuntu precise 64 bit, is it really meant for i386 package ?
