I tried both the proposed solution and a work around and NEITHER is working:

sudo setcap cap_sys_ptrace=eip /usr/bin/wineserver
sudo setcap cap_sys_ptrace=eip /usr/bin/wine-preloader

When I do the proposed solution on the site, I get this:

tee: /proc/sys/kernal/yama/ptrace_scope: No such file or directory

I'm on the updated Manjaro Xfce and I'm getting very frustrated.
