Resolution not making sense!??!

sulagmu1	SO... I wanna play hollow knight(yes hollow knight... haven't completed it yet will play silksong after completing it) in the max resolution 2560x1664 but in game it only shows up as 1710x1112.... then I changed the resolution in my mac settings and now the option for 2560x1664 is available but.... everything is tiny
