I installed DA:O using the most recent DA:O POL script and upgraded it to 1.04

Using Wine 1.3.16, the game runs smoothly with no flickers or lag

The only problem is that I can't seem to attack/damage/kill any foes and they can't seem to damage me either. Attacking them would always show "miss" rather than the appropriate damage quantity. This happens on the intro/tutorial levels so I'm pretty sure it's not just caused by overpowered enemies or something.


Any one else experience this? Any suggestions? Thanks

Try with wine-1.3.14, the most recent wine version rated gold on AppDB, no damage problem reported with this version. You can change wine version with Manage wine version option in PoL.
