Hi,

i just discovered PlayonMac. Great Software! Thanks!

BUT

i installed Steam and then Counterstrike. The Problem is, that i cannot use my Keyboad at all. Is there any possibility to fix that?

I just thougt about using an other version of wine. Is there the Possibility?
i Just can use Wine version "System" and 1.3.23.

some time ago i installed Steam on a ubuntu machine with wine version 0.9.x there it worked perfect. Can i do so in Playonmac too?

Ok, i tried to use an other version of WINE (1.3.7, 1.3.9 and 1.3.2) but non of them Worked for me. I dont think its a WINE Problem. - i believe that the Problem is somewhere around the X11 from Mac. - i changed the input Settings - nothing helped!


Any Idea?

No you can't, Actual Steam will not run with older wine version.

There is no reported keyboard problem on AppDB, maybe it's OSX specific bug.

Hmm strange.

I opened a new thread in the Bugtracker ( http://www.playonlinux.com/en/issue-179.html ). Hopefully someone can helt me ;)

Have you got any idea what i could do?

Solved: Install PlayonMac Beta 5! With beta 5 it works perfect!

That's very weird ! POM 4 do not change anything about this problem :-S
