hdmi sound not working

snelkat	hi. i ran your installer for diablo3 and it installed and launched fine! but without sound. i checked the wine settings for d3 under the audio tab, tried all different settings, no sound when i press the "test sound" key. i tried running winecfg from command line. it looks the same but when i press the "test sound" button, the sound works. on some forum they talked about an emulation option but i can't see one. i'm running a newly updated ubuntu precise with playonlinux 4.1.1. i'm using a geforce gt520 graphics card with hdmi audio. sound works fine otherwise in webbrowsers aplay etc.   please advise. :) regards robin

snelkat	i've done some more digging and if i change the "wine version" to 1.4 or "system default", the sound works. anyone else out there using geforce hdmi audio?

snelkat	oh no i'm so stupid. i've tried the tip above killing pulseaudio. but i didn't notice that it was autorestarting. solution: uninstalled pulseaudio. now it works fine. thanks a million!
