Hello everyone!
I've just finally erased windows from my pc.
I also installed Steam for Linux on my linux box.
The fact is I have a LOT of non linux games in Steam; the good thing is Ithere is an installer for most of them in PlayOnLinux.
I'm just curious about one thing. Every time I use POL to install a steam game, does it have to install a separate version of Steam?
If it does, do I have to re-add the computer (for steamguard) for every game?

Eventually, is it possible to install a Steam only once and add the games I want to it?

Thanks for your help :-)

Hi,

The point of keeping games in separate virtual drives is that specific tweaks (specific versions of Wine, natives libs,...) can be used per game.
You can install one instance of Steam and install games in it, but then you'll have to manage the tweaks and the required components by yourself.

Thanks for the reply :-)
I did figured out about the purpose of virtual drive, and I have no problem using them (less work for me :-)).
I was just curious whether Steam will recognize virtual drives as different Pc's or not (so that I'll have to add a computer for each game).
I guess I'll figure it out by trying it :-).
