I couldn't get Anno 2070 to patch. I found a thread on the Steam forums that told how to patch manually.  I have the latest patch which includes all previous patches. How do I run a zip file in the VD?

You know that zip files are not executable, right? You will most likely need to extract it and patch it manually. If the patch has an executable with it, then you can run it like:

PlayOnLinux -> Configure -> click on your programs VD -> Misc. tab -> run .exe in this virtual drive

I thought I could use ARK to open it but it doesn’t show any files when I open it but does show a few Meg’s under proprieties, Yesterday KDE menu wasn't working and today it is. Weird because I rebooted after updating Kubuntu 13.10.I'll try re downloading the patch in case it got fluked.
