Making MS-DOS Games Full-screen Resolution?

Help adjusting MS-DOS games to fill the screen.

When I play MS-DOS games that were installed via PlayOnLinux, they are displayed full-screen, however the resolution is low - the game displays in a small box, in the middle of the screen with a black border surrounding it...


How do I increase the resolution, so that these games fill the entire display?


One of the games is a native MS-DOS game, the rest are GOG.com (Good Old Games) ports)...

That's a limitation of the hq2x scaler I used in the scripts:

"I think it's done since, with the exception of the normal and advmame scalers, any other scalers assumes an RGB color space (or similar) is used. Things are a bit different with output=opengl(nb), and with output=overlay the color space is quite far from RGBA."

Normally what I do is change the resolution of my Linux desktop to match the game.
I had no idea there was a "scaler". So is the scaler in PlayOnLinux, Wine or DosBox?
I'm a little confused on that part...
