I know this is planned for the future, but i just wanted to give it a "bump".

First, i would like to say hello to everyone. and thank you for all of your hard work on this project.

I am still fairly new to Linux, and have had some success running mmorpg's and other games under wine, I just discovered your project, and was immediately interested in it.

Since the user documentation isnt finished yet, I decided to spend a lot of time reading the forums, and website, and hopefully gain some information on how playonlinux works.

Well I guess I just wasnt lucky enough to find that information, or maybe nobody has written any type of beginners guide yet, Or perhaps its on some other website somewhere?

I guess what I am asking for, is a guide that not only explains what playonlinux does, but also how to use it. And it really should be on a beginners level.

This would give people like me the opportunity to begin using it, and possibly move on to creating scripts at some point in the future, And the Documentation could be added to, over the course of time in difficulty levels, Until someday there is a complete Users Guide.

Im sure im just rehashing other peoples ideas, but this really needs to be done, Windows Users are abandoning their Micro* products at an increasing rate.

Also if there is an existing walk thru somewhere, could you link it for me please?
Thank you for your time.

I'm a beginner and trust me, the document works really fine.

Anyway, you can use their scripts (http://www.playonlinux.com/repository) like examples.

If you have a little doubt, talk to me or Tinou or someone else here who's experienced. I'm a beginner too but I've created a script.

I have to agree with eyerobot...
I am not sure if it is my computer, or a user error, I have installed PlayOnLinux, but it doesn't seem to have any effect on my system, I reinstalled it just to see if I had, in fact, installed it. Is there something in particular I should do to use it, or is it just part of wine now?
Sorry to be a complete noob, if someone can show me the documentation I can try to educate myself.

Types "playonlinux" in a terminal or look at if you can find POL in your game menu.

If somebody is able to write a proper documentation, please send me a mail
