I installed Crossover recently and after seeing the announcement about Half-Life 2’s anniversary update decided to try it out. Lo and Behold it was running... surprisingly well! Now, I have an M3 Max with 48 GB of RAM so no slouch of a computer but based on everything I was reading this thing shouldn't run at all, and it was working a treat.

Then I got a couple chapters in and the gunshots started flying and the explosions started happening and there was definitely some chugging and sluggishness. I could still play, but it was no longer buttery smooth https://mobdro.bio/  .
