[Fallout 3] Error: "There is already an instance of Fallout 3 Running"

Hello world!

I had a fresh Ubuntu 9.04 install, got the ATI driver for my Radeon HD 8740 up, installed myself compiz and then got my hands on POL for installing Fallout 3.
I patched the game with the latest patch from the website (1.7) and I turned off compiz with the commandmetacity --replace &
After that I ran through POL the Fallout 3 Launcher and I got this message that there is already an instance of Fallout 3 is running?

I get the sound and all at the Launcher.. and if I try to launch Fallout 3 directly without the launcher, I get this error (picture taken from this topic).


I'd really like to see my Fallout 3 runing on my desktop.. :laught:
