OK Yosha, this is directly relevant to POL, so hopefully you do not see it as clutter. I am *not* very Linux-capable.

POL is Brilliant! Thanks so much.

I have 4.1.9 installed and I'm told to update to 4.2.1    . How to do this?
I have done ...
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install playonlinux              ..... says I already have the latest version.

I am running (here) Zorin OS 6

Any clarification most welcome.
Thanks,

If you are upset that I removed something of yours before for it being irrelevant, then Im sorry. If you have an issue, please feel free to PM me.

You need to download it from here:

http://www.playonlinux.com/en/download.html

Use the install directions for Ubuntu, as that is what your distro is based off of. You can either download the deb or you can add the repository to your system.

For you, use the DEB. It is the easiest to install with.

Yes, use the DEB file.
I am running Mint and accidentally downloaded one of the other Ubuntu PlayOnLinux versions because they are not labeled as "Ubuntu" only versions.
