I have a samsung ativbook4 and i am running ubuntu 13 whichever the newest one was and i just updated and retarted so it shouldnt be the ubuntu. newest version of playonlinux downloaded and installed via ubuntu software center. i have ubuntu as the only os and thats about all i know. i tried to load path of exile i had the windows version downloaded of poe and i ran it through the already loaded list on playonlinux? i think then after its all loaded i hit launch on the patcher/launcher that provides the launch. so it gave me an error that said "direct3d driver error" how can i fix that

Roughly, in the config option for PoE, install the approrpirate module. You'll have to search for which ones you need as I've forgotten

FYI, the only problem I have with PoE is in places like submerged passeges and the catacombs(?) where a quarter of the screen flashes to a colour(white, black, red, etc). Makes it hard to target and survive. Might be my bleeding edge card(AMD 7790).

This Guide may help:  GamersOnLinux

Calebloveanddeath - Do you know which video chip the Samsung Ativbook4 is running?
Installing the proper drivers and/or 32-bit libraries may fix this problem.

Did you try the guide?
Intel HD Graphics should be able to play Path of Exile, but I'm not sure if the Linux drivers can do it.
Are you able to play any other games?
