Hello.
Some players have a problem with Steam. Games crash as soon as any key on keybord will be pressed.
It's reported as Bug 35361 on WineHQ Bugzilla: http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=35361
Look like a problem with the Steam in-game community overlay.

Comment 18 on bug's page have link to tutorial how to fix this bug: http://blog.en.edaro.net/2014/02/Wine-and-the-Steam-Community.html

If I understood right entry by link it's need to do some changes in dlls/imm32/imm.c before wine compilation to solve problem (fix this bug).

May be need to compile latest wine with this fix and include that wine as wine-1.7.13-imm32 (for example) to PlayOnLinux wine repositiry?
It will be really helpfull for all users who have same problem whis this bug.

Hi,

The current way of requesting a custom build is to fill a feature request in the bug tracker, with a link to the patch and any relevant informations for building, specially if not standard.

See for example http://www.playonlinux.com/en/issue-1645.html
