Hi all :) I have a question about virtual drives.

I have installed Grand theft auto San Andreas and then MTA (multiplayer mod) in the same virtual drive. Now I want to install Fraps to monitor the FPS in MTA and possibly other games I may install in future.

Is it better to install fraps in its own virtual drive or in the same one as GTASA and MTA?

Also would there be any disadvantages to make just one virtual drive called WinXPgames and install all my windows XP compatable games in that one drive?

Fraps does not seem to work under Wine, so you can install it anywhere you want:

There's a way to monitor fps in Wine by setting $WINEDEBUG to "fps", but I can't tell right now if/how this can be used under PlayOnLinux/PlayOnMac

It doesnt look like its worth trying fraps :( oh well. Thank you.

It's not perfect, but it seems to work:

Configure button > (select the virtual drive or the shortcut) > General tab > Debug flags: "fps"

Then go back to the main window > Select the shortcut > Debug (in the side panel)

And the debugger window will start filling with messages like
