I want to install both the diablo 3 client as well as the diablo 3 PTR client. I already have D3 installed but when I try and install it again it prompts me if I want to overwrite the existing installation, which I don't. Is there somewhere in the install script to change the name of the prefix for this installation, or a place to change the name in the existing one so that I can install both? Thanks!

If you mean, is there provision in scripts to set where to install stuff, the answer is no, the target virtual drives are hardcoded, for simplicity.

But if you look at the sources of most scripts, the target is explicitly set in one place, and Diablo 3 script is no exception, see the PREFIX= line at the beginning of script:
