                        Heyho,
I followed recent tutorial to install League of Legends. At around 65% I got pop-up from PlayOnLinux (or any co-part) that program had to be shut down and it could be caused due to Wine's deficiency. I read somewhere in message you let me see, that if I'm using PlayOnLinux, I shouldn't be posting on WineHQ, but here instead. I saved the debug log file:
http://s000.tinyupload.com/download.php?file_id=52117669573154468165&t=5211766957315446816519474
I'm using Linux Ubuntu 14.04 LTS x64. Every other Wine/WineTricks versions have been managed by PoL itself.

That's all I got provided. It just allowed me to save log, nothing more.
We need the full debug logs, computer specs, drivers, etc.. Without that, we are just guessing. Also, WineTricks does not come with POL, so if you were using that, it was not a part of POL. http://wiki.playonlinux.com/index.php/How_to_Post_in_the_Forums
I didn't use Winetricks actively, I just hoped that this could somehow help PoL. I just installed it and left it there. sudo lshw >  http://s000.tinyupload.com/download.php?file_id=26565731176124687942&t=2656573117612468794200128 sudo lshw -short > http://s000.tinyupload.com/download.php?file_id=05311469648843995532&t=0531146964884399553245575 Debug log: http://s000.tinyupload.com/download.php?file_id=41023191544028694102&t=4102319154402869410216585

Well my advice will be forget about games under wine, why ? because as far as I know wine does not support intel intagrated video cards. So even if you somehow manage to start the game it will still not work. I

Do you have the 32 bit Mesa libs installed for your graphics card (if confused, check the wiki)? Welp, your PoL prompted me an error that if I don't install mesa-utils the game won't work properly. So I sudo apt-get install mesa-utils'd it. Then I went to 01.org, but they don't give architecture flavors. So I just installed Mesa 10.5.1, I don't know if it installed next to it, or has it overwritten. Then I came back to your topic and you pointed me to Wikipedia. It had this link: https://01.org/linuxgraphics/, which I already visited, then you tell me to:
adrian@adrian-Linux:~$ sudo apt-get install libgl1-mesa-glx:i386

                        Hi,
I have the same or very similar problem:
The patcher in my case goes from 45 to 60 or something % and then crushes.
At the time my pc gets really slow, it's also heating a lot and i can hear my hard drive working. Other applications often freeze when moved from swap or are started while the is patch on and when something freezes the patcher often does too which causes the error.
I tried if the problem isn't in conection or if the conection has influenced the patcher so i was tur ning off and on the connection, in the end the nothing changed and the pacher crashed even though the internet was off at the moment.
I tried many times so far and it seems that the patcher last  mostly when i don't domore anything.
The LoL 5.8 version was working fine but the 5.9 isn't.
Interesting fact is that while waiting to it to crash in order to post you the log, it did not crash for a long time which probably means that my pc hates me a lot.
My pc specs, the whole log and pic of error:

Hope this will be helpful :)

Please don't add links to things that we need to download. Simply type in the computer specs and all of that, and copy/paste the debug log to here or pastebin or something.

I gotta be honest, if your system is getting actually hot to where are noticing it (a properly cooled system shouldn't overheat under load), and even though hard drives make noise, it is making enough noise for you to notice it, you may have more important issues (like cooling, dying HD, power management errors, etc.) than just LOL. It should slow down, but not bring your system to it's knees.
This is part of the reason that we need debug logs and computer specs in the first post, because we need it anyway, plus I am really just speculating off of what you told me.   Don't feel bad, though; you aren't the first to have problems with LoL. It is a popular game, but can get grumpy at times. We will figure it out. haha.
NOTE: Thread-jacking is uncouth. lol. In this case it is ok, as it may be a related issue. Usually you will want to start your own post in the future. That way it is easier to keep track of who is helping who. :)
