while looking at the games that linux has to offer i found this software and i'm hopping that i can use it for some games that i have; but right away when playon opens all the letters are all bunch up as if my DPI was to high, but i have a 32 inch tv-monitor, and every else looks good , so i'm wondering if is because in settings it shows a 72 inch display rather than a 32 inch . so of course before i even try to install games i like to see if the display is gonna be ok

What resolution are you running on the 32 in TV?
What distro are you using?

Ok, Mint can support that easily as I have it running on a Desktop with HD monitor.
What video card/chip are you using?
Are you using proprietary drivers?

Ok, good. Have you verified that you can play games?
Try on a regular monitor first.
I'm guessing you are using HDMI output for the TV, so you may want to lauch the Nvidia software and see if it wil l configure your HDMI for that TV.
I'm really guessing here because I only use LCD monitors for my Desktops

Oh yeah, I didn't realize the problem you were having was PlayOnLinux specific.
Yes, when you launch PlayOnLinux the first time, it will ask to download windows fonts.
Try installing the newest PlayOnLinux 4.2.8
