I recently bought a 14" Macbook Pro (coming from a 24" iMac) and hooked it up to my trusty, old 24" 1080p monitor and everything looks absolutely horrendous. I only play WoW on the Mac and the texts are almost barely readable because they are so jacked, even in MacOS the text looks like absolute garbage.
So now I'm set to get a new monitor. Should I go for 27" 1440p or do I need the full 4k? I read somewhere around here that 1440p has some scaling issues, so thats my main concern. All I really need from the display is to display sharp text in WoW and MacOS and 60 FPS.
