CS2 mediocre performance under NVIDIA

I'm running a 1060 GTX and CSGO ran at over 240fps for me. With CS2, the highest I can achieve is 100fps in the menu. Running KDE Wayland 5.27-8 on Fedora 39  .

Is there a reason for this performance? I have most effects in Low. Is my gpu not strong enough or is the game badly optimized for now?
