Hi! So my laptop died on me and one of the solutions for me to retrive my thesis is to install ubuntu. Apparently the word on ubuntu sort of has a different format with microsoft so the format got a bit messed up.

I like ubuntu but i really want to have microsoft office installe here.So one of the options is to install playonlinux. But the problem its no included in the install menu.

I went to this http://www.playonlinux.com/repository/?cat=3&type=0 and clicked "Install this program" but it said "firefox doesnt know how to open this address".

I could really use some help.Please?

I don't know... Did you let it complete its updates? You had a network issue?
