It works!!! :D
I updated the script above, now anyone should be able to run it. Now if only I didn't have a crappy intel chipset... :(

Slow fps? I had to turn vertex shaders off in the wine registry to get it to run perfectly smooth on mine. Rather have it run smooth than look pretty.

Surprisingly with the lack of detail it still scares my socks off! It's one of those games that just doesn't need the detail.

Okay, so I have copied and pasted the code into a word document, saved it, and tried to run it on PlayOnLinux, but a message pops up saying, "PlayOnLinux does not approve of the current script and will not be held responsible." Or something like that, so I am unable to play the game. Anyone care to help, please?

When it says that warning message, you should be able to just press 'Next', if there is no 'Next' button, then there is something wrong with your playonlinux, and I would suggest reinstalling it, or updating to the latest version if you don't have it.

So the warning message does have a next selection, but after that it tells me to confirm the script, and after I do confirm it, the whole window closes, and goes back to playonlinux, but doesnt run the program. Should I just reinstall it then?

I created the file and tried to run it in PlayOnLinux, but after I checked "I Accept" when reviewing the script source, nothing happened... Any suggestions?

Edit: Greyfox we seem to be having the same problem. What OS are you on?

Edit 2: Solved original problem, the game installed fine but was buggy when it ran, didn't work right at all. Not even the menu. Any body have an idea why?

The problem is you didn't write slender.sh

I don't have the file named with a '.sh' and it works fine

How did you manage to do that? The game works fine for me, but at very slow FPS. I have a GeForce 550ti, it should run fine

Anyone else has this problem?

i tried using the script on ubuntu lucid 10.04 and the game will load but there is no sound and no text on the menu.  if i click around i can eventually find the "play game" button somewhere and the game will start, but still no sounds.  when i push ESC to exit, playonlinux says the game crashed, so here's the debug file: http://pastebin.com/FMH65rWV   i tried using latest version of wine (1.5.20) as well as the other one mentioned (1.4-rc4-raw3) too.
