I'm trying to use PlayOnMac to run a publishing accounting program designed for Windows. The program is called "Publishers' Assistant Lyric Edition" and can be downloaded at www.pubassist.com -- However, I have a MacBook Pro running OSX Lion. I installed PubAssist using PlayOnMac, but when I try to run it I keep getting the error:
OLE error code 0x80020003: unknown COM status code
Then, this:
Function argument value, type, or count is invalid.
It appears to be a problem with Wine or Visual FoxPro? I don't know. Software code isn't my strong point. How can I fix this and get the program to run so that I can start calculating royalties and keep records for my indie publishing house?
