Problem with Ghost Recon (2001) Multiplayer

I have been trying to get Ghost Recon's multiplayer working with Game Ranger. Every time I open Ghost Recon to join a server the game crashes. However, when I play Ghost Recon without Game Ranger, it works fine. Do you guys have a solution? Because I really would love to be able to play multiplayer.
