I'm not conversant fully with Playonlinux. My PC is having Ubuntu 16.04 O/S. I have installed Playonlinux in my PC. Is it possible to open new word document in my O/S? If so, kindly advice the procedure.

Hello Anupam,

          I hope your question refers to the use of Microsoft Word. You can open a new word document only after installing Microsoft Office in Playonlinux. You can easily install Microsoft Office if you have a copy of it.
