Will PlayOnMac run on the new MacBook Air with the M1 chip and MacOS Big Sur?

When we buy one device :)

I've been able to download and install PlayonMac to my M1 Macbook Air. The program runs, but my attempt to install Star Trek Online using the STO installer was abortive. Haven't tried any other games or programs.

A 64 bit virtual drive was created and Wine 4.0.3 installed but the STO installation failed. 

I'll play with it a little more and then post more information.

 

about STO not working: I started using bootcamp after it didnt work on an intel based mac either, so that may not be a problem exclusively with m1 chips, but rather the installer thing being outdated?
