Just read on reddit that there is a patch for Wine that will allow Roblox to run in Linux.

I've read for quite a while that the Roblox anti-cheat has prevented us from playing it in Wine, so hopefully this will fix it.

In the past PlayOnLinux developers have patched versions of Wine for us and make them available in the repository.

Can you guys help?

Unfortunaly since 2019 (where I begin to be active with POL/POM) I have not see anyone making a Wine kernel patched for POL/POM. While I saw some in Lutris.net ...

Perhaps that Crossover's beta releases (v20+) does include the patch...

According the forums dates on Winehq.org, I think that the patch will be include into Wine v6.11.

Oh cool!  That is good enough for me.  I'm happy to wait... its just I have never compiled anything in almost 10 years of gaming in Mint.  Never needed to.

You guys at PlayOnLinux have done an amazing job providing all the Wine versions we need.

I have seen post after post on reddit about people wanting to play Roblox or their kids want to play Roblox and it just didn't run.

Looking forward to seeing more posts that its now running in Wine.
