 Hello!
Had installed  Bookshelf 97 from Office 97 CD on my Linux Version 18.3 Sylvia with Wine version 1.6.2 the default version installed from its repository. Once the program did not respond had changed wine to version 1.9.0 but to no avail. The program opened and functioned on its debut installtion from the Office 97 CD with wine version 1.6.2 and PlayOnLinux 4.3.4. Thereafter launching from CD or else as I had copied the Bookshelf components from the CD to the computer in the .PlayOnLinux  folder at the corresponding virtual drive i.e the bookshelf drive does not open the program with an Error message box, "The Article cannot be opened". But on double clicking could get the program frame open with no data. A blank dark winow opens.

Steps Taken to rectify.
1) Once the Error message appeared as referenced in the above paragraph. Had changed the version of Wine to 1.9.0 with no luck.

2) Deleted all the Bookshelf article copied to the computer from the CD to .PlayOnLinux . Tried to install it in Wine versions stated above in their respective wine folders .Wine or .Wine1.9.0 folders installing and uninstalling them after the result turned out to be in vain.

3) Tried to launch the program with wine parameters yet with no luck.

4) Deleted all copied version from the Bookshelf 97 CD to the computer and endeavoured to run from the CD, with no positive result.

5) After running out of options decided to post the issue in the forum.
