Ok so I have the Age of Empires Collectors Edition with Both Age of Empires 2 And the Expansion. I have Successfully Installed them by going into the folders and Opening the AOEsetup with Wine. it shows up and plays the games starting videos with the Companys name. Once it goes 2 the Main menu of the game it goes black I can hear the Music and the icons when i go over them but i cant see anything. Any Ideas How 2 get it 2 work?

I'm experiencing the same issue and am at a loss as to how to fix it.

Running POL 3.8.5 on Ubuntu 10.10

I got it working. The install script fails to mention that you need to configure wine to run as a virtual desktop. If that could be changed to something like the AOE3 v-sync warning.. -Thanks
