Problem with Steam

Loading and jitters

Rolyat	I installed Steam through Playonmac on my macbook pro. However, when I open steam it takes forever to load anything and it has this jittery problem as well.  It also froze once and beeped every time i tried to click on it. I closed it and Playonmac said to press the debug button and it gave me a log of what happened I guess.(I'm not code savvy.)  Any guesses on what I should do?
