Hi. I was wondering if someone could include playonlinux in a distro. Pol has some scripts that use winetricks. Is this free? I mean, couldn't Microsoft persuade you to pay for that? For example, if an important distro like Ubuntu would use POL, couldn't M$ claim that it's rights are being violated?

In fact I did. I posed the question because the Ubuntu devs were discussing back in April to include Wine in Ubuntu Main for user to be able to automatically open windows binaries. Then someone on Linux Today suggest that if Ubuntu does this, a fronted would be better suited. So, it happened to pass through my diabolic mind that POL would just fit. The only dilemma I had was regarding winetricks licence and the freedom to use those redistributables. I guess that it is just fine then... Thanks NSLW. Just wish you were friendlier. I was only trying to help.
